Number 1 Question: How much space do I need for an Indoor Trackman iO Golf Simulator ?
Trackman Golf Simulator Size Requirements vary significantly dependent on what you are looking to achieve:
Trackman iO Golf Simulator Room Ceiling Height Requirements:
3000mm is our recommended finished floor to Ceiling Height, to comfortably swing with your Driver.
Whilst 3000mm is not set in stone, one of the easiest ways to determine if you have enough Ceiling Height to safely swing, is to simply put down a carpet tile or door mat etc, in your proposed Golf Sim Space and make a number of practice swings with your Driver and if you feel not restricted, then your Good to Go.
We have a Commercial Golf Sim Facility with Golf Bays at 2850mm Ceiling Height, using Trackman iO Mid Version with no issues, we have installed a Trackman 4 Sim for a customer with only a 2550mm Ceiling Height (this customer only used his irons though!!!) So the honest answer is, you can determine your own Golf Simulator Ceiling Height requirements by being able to comfortably swing within your Golf Sim Space.
Trackman iO is available with 3 Different Ceiling Height Options:
Trackman iO Low version 2700mm – 2900mm Ceiling Height
Trackman iO Mid version 2850mm – 3050mm Ceiling Height
Trackman iO High version 3000mm – 3200mm Ceiling Height
There are 2 further options if you have a greater than 3200mm or Less than 2700mm Ceiling Height, you can simply use a Vesa Pole Mount to drop your Trackman iO Unit down to the permitted Height, Trackman iO has Industry Standard Vesa 100mm x 100mm Mount Options.

If your looking for the Optimal Golf Swing Room dimensions you should consider 2 key elements:
For Premium Golf Sims with no width restrictions i.e. Designing & Building the Ultimate Trackman iO or Trackman 4 Golf Sim from scratch, you should be planning on a Room width of 4.6m +……. why 4.6m ? this allows for Players to comfortably swing from a Central Ball Position, for Both Right & Left Handed use.

Simple answer is 5.3m Wide by 3m Ceiling Height
Why this size? Lets explain why below:
16:9 Aspect Ratio is the Industry Standard, this equates to a simple formula of 16 / 9 = 1.777
Therefore, if you are aiming to achieve an Optimal Golf Sim 3m Ceiling Height, then the formula is as follows: 3m x 1.777 = 5.3m Golf Studio Room Width.
This will give you The Perfect Golf Sim 16:9 Aspect Ratio, with very little Projector Geometric Correction required (see separate Ultimate Projector Guide)
